Service groupSupply & Logistics

Supplier comparison, barge scheduling, quantity survey attendance and bunker delivery note verification at every bunkering port we serve.

  • Supplier offers compared side by side
  • Barge scheduling coordinated with the berth window
  • Quantity survey attendance and tank soundings
  • BDN verification and sample sealing
  • Letters of protest raised on the spot
  • MARPOL Annex VI documentation

Bunkering disputes almost always start with quantity and quality, and almost always end with whoever kept the better record. Our role is to make sure the record exists.

Arranging

We collect offers from suppliers at the bunkering port, present them side by side with grade, delivery window and barge details, and place the order once you decide. We do not mark up the fuel.

Attending

An operator attends the delivery, witnesses the quantity survey, checks tank soundings before and after, and verifies the bunker delivery note against what was actually delivered. Samples are sealed and distributed in line with MARPOL Annex VI requirements.

Recording

You receive the BDN, sample seal numbers, survey figures and any letter of protest the same day, not at the end of the month.

We do not trade fuel or take a margin on the product. Our fee covers coordination and attendance so that our interest stays aligned with yours during a quantity dispute.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, and deliberately so. We collect offers, place the order with the supplier you choose, and attend the delivery on your behalf. Because we take no margin on the product, our position in a quantity dispute is not compromised.
Yes, at the main bunkering anchorages. Weather limits apply and the barge slot has to be booked against a forecast, so we confirm rather than assume the window the day before.
