1. Data controller

Forever Shipping Denizcilik ve Turizm A.Ş., registered in Arnavutköy, İstanbul, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and in the course of providing agency, crew and transfer services.

2. What we collect

Contact details you provide through the request or contact forms, including name, company, e-mail address, telephone number and country. For crew and transfer services we also process the personal data required to complete formalities: passport details, seaman's book numbers, nationality, flight details and, where relevant, medical information necessary for a specific case.

We collect technical data automatically, including IP address, browser type and pages visited, in order to operate the site and understand how it is used.

3. Why we process it

To respond to your enquiry and provide a quotation; to perform the services you engage us for; to comply with statutory obligations towards port, customs, immigration and health authorities; and to keep the records required of a licensed ship agency.

4. Legal grounds

Processing is based on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services, and, where required, your explicit consent.

5. Sharing

Crew and vessel data is shared with port, customs, immigration and health authorities where a statutory filing requires it, and with hotels, transport providers and launch operators to the extent necessary to deliver the service. Commercial details of your vessel or fixture are not shared with third parties.

6. Retention

Personal data is retained for the period required by Turkish maritime, tax and commercial legislation, and deleted or anonymised once that period expires.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 you may ask whether your personal data is processed, request information about the processing, request correction or deletion, ask that third parties be notified of any correction, object to conclusions drawn solely by automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
