About the role
You will take ownership of port calls in the Marmara region — filing notices, attending vessels, coordinating pilotage and towage, and reporting to owners and charterers throughout. This is a hands-on operational role with shift work and port attendance, not a desk-only position.
Responsibilities
- File pre-arrival notices with harbour master, customs, immigration and health authorities
- Board vessels on arrival and attend free pratique and berthing
- Coordinate pilotage, towage and mooring services
- Prepare NOR, statements of fact and time sheets
- Report to owners and charterers at every stage of the call
- Support the preparation of proforma and final disbursement accounts
What we look for
- At least two years in ship agency or port operations
- Fluent written and spoken English; Turkish required
- Valid driving licence and willingness to attend ports at any hour
- Comfortable with shift rotation including nights and weekends
- Maritime transport or business degree preferred
